Ferozepur 7/September (karanbir): Salman Khan has come forward to help the people affected by the floods in Punjab. His foundation has sent 5 boats for flood relief. Aam Aadmi Party General Secretary and Punjab Tourism Chairman Deepak Bali visited the flood-affected Ferozepur village and handed over the boats sent by Salman Khan’s NGO to the administration. Out of these, 2 boats were handed over to the district administration at the Ferozepur border while the remaining 2 boats will be used in rescue operations across the state.       Bali also said that after the situation becomes normal, Salman Khan’s foundation Being Human will adopt several villages on the border adjoining Hussainiwala. It is worth noting that the floods caused by continuous rains and breaking of dams in Punjab have caused huge devastation so far. While the administration and the army are engaged in relief and rescue work, the artists coming forward for help is proving to be a ray of hope for the victims.
